US Secretary of State Antony Blinken traveled to Israel for the ninth time since the beginning of the conflict in the Gaza Strip on Monday, August 19th.

Blinken’s trip to Egypt Persian

According to the French news agency, Blinken will separately meet with Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, Yair Lapid, the Defense Minister, and Isaac Herzog, the President of France on Tuesday.

Following this trip, Blinken will travel to Egypt on Wednesday. He is expected to engage in discussions with Egyptian leaders regarding ceasefire talks between Israel and Hamas. The continuation of a new round of ceasefire talks between Israel and Hamas is scheduled to take place in Cairo in the coming days.
