Borrell Strongly Condemns Israel's Revocation of Norwegian Diplomats' Credentials

Borrell strongly condemned Israel’s revocation of Norwegian diplomats’ credentials

In a statement released by Borrell’s office, it was mentioned that the European Union’s Foreign Affairs Commissioner had a phone call with Norway’s Foreign Minister after the revocation of Norwegian diplomats’ credentials in Israel.

Borrell wrote in the statement, ‘I strongly condemn this unfair decision that harms normal relations and cooperation with the Palestinian government.’

Josep Borrell wrote on X that following this conversation, the official position of the European Union on this matter was conveyed to Israeli officials through the EU’s diplomatic mission in Israel.

On Thursday, Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs refused to accept the credentials of Norway’s diplomatic representatives due to Oslo’s recognition of the state of Palestine on May 28 of this year.
