BRICS condemned the attack on facilities monitored by the agency
The leaders of BRICS member countries, in the final statement of the group’s 18th summit in New Delhi, expressed deep concern over deliberate attacks on civilian facilities under the safeguards of the International Atomic Energy Agency and emphasized the necessity of protecting these centers.
In this statement, the continuation of conflicts in various parts of the world, the widening of political divides, and the weakening of the global order are described as concerning. BRICS members also called for strengthening energy security and maintaining supply chains.
BRICS leaders expressed their opposition to unilateral sanctions that are contrary to international law and thanked Russia for hosting the New Development Bank BRICS meeting in Moscow.
