BRICS Member States Summit Held with the Presence of the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran

The summit of BRICS member countries was held with the presence of the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, was welcomed by Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva upon arriving at the venue of the 17th BRICS summit in Rio de Janeiro.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has officially joined BRICS, which has 11 main members and 11 partner members, starting from the beginning of 2024.

The BRICS summit will be hosted by Brazil on July 6th and 7th with the theme of peace, security, and reform of global governance.
