Britain rises against racism
While riots and acts of vandalism by British racists in the streets of several cities in the country had confronted British society with an unprecedented crisis, various racial groups in this country, with the full support of the majority of white Britons, took to the streets. Through widespread demonstrations and gatherings in many areas, they marginalized the racists, and in some cases, the limited number of rioters were surrounded by a sea of people opposing racism. The slogans and chants of the countless protesters against racism were peaceful and surprisingly kind, lacking the usual angry nature of protests. The anti-racist protests were portrayed by the people as a protest against no one and support for everyone, standing alongside immigrants.
Cities like Liverpool, Birmingham, Brighton, and naturally London witnessed these enthusiastic and gentle gatherings. However, the concerns of the British police and security officials regarding potential racist riots in the coming days remain serious.
Apart from the attacks by extremist vandals on refugee residences and numerous assaults on racial minorities, now lawyers and legal offices that provide services to refugees are also at risk, and warnings of possible attacks on them have been issued.
