Broadcasting Ads in Home Network Series and Films is Illegal

Broadcasting advertisements in domestic network series and films is illegal.

Recently, domestic network users have been complaining about the airing of ads during various shows, a complaint that is justified because, essentially, one of the benefits of membership in foreign programs is watching movies and series without commercials. This means that if you, as a user, intend to watch content for free, you should expect to see advertisements. However, if you have purchased a subscription, ads should no longer be shown to you.

Furthermore, many productions in domestic networks have financial sponsors, and generally, their costs have already been covered.

This is a standard approach worldwide that programs follow. According to Article 38 of the SATRA Commercial Communications Regulations, displaying any kind of advertisement on premium accounts is prohibited. It seems that the lack of legal oversight has made them eager to earn billions and they prefer money over the audience’s intelligence.
