Businesses Using Local Platforms Exempted from Tax

Businesses that use domestic platforms are exempt from taxes.

According to the 1403 budget bill, in order to support and encourage online businesses to use domestic platforms, until the end of this year, the income of businesses of individuals on domestic platforms approved by the Ministry of Communications, which did not have a tax file last year, will be subject to a zero tax rate.

According to next year’s budget bill in clause 6 regarding duties and taxes, it is stated that in order to support the development of the digital economy in the country and to encourage online businesses to use domestic platforms, until the end of 1402, the income of businesses of individuals on domestic platforms approved by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, which did not have a tax file until the end of 1401, will be subject to a zero tax rate.
