Eric Balsam, spokesperson for the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, told AFP that the organization is actively investigating several life threats based on credible information received
Details of the investigations have not been provided, but Mr. Balsam said that the organization is collaborating with international partners. He added that the Canadian Security Intelligence Service is aware that the Islamic Republic is monitoring Canadian citizens, including dual Iranian nationals, and is seeking to intimidate them to silence those who speak out publicly against the regime
