Carlos Queiroz’s new request from the Football Federation
The head coach of Iran’s national football team has requested the team’s delegation to arrive in Qatar as soon as possible to familiarize themselves with the conditions there.
The training sessions for Iran’s national football team, in preparation for the 2022 Qatar World Cup, are continuing with selected domestic players and Omid Ebrahimi as the only legionnaire. This is happening while Carlos Queiroz is deeply concerned about the delay in having all his players present.
The head coach of Iran’s national football team, considering FIFA’s regulations, can only have his legionnaires available 8 days before the start of their first World Cup game in Qatar. As expected, the issue of coordination among team members in the 2022 World Cup, which unlike previous editions is being held in the fall, is looming.
The Portuguese head coach is sparing no effort to create more coordination among team members. His team is set to host Nicaragua on November 10th and, after two days of rest and training in Tehran, is preparing for the trip to Qatar.
The head coach of Iran’s national team will announce the final list of domestic players on November 11th so that they, along with the rest of the team, can head to Qatar on a charter flight.
