Cavani’s Attack on the VAR Monitor

The captain of the Uruguay national team knocked over the VAR monitor at the end of the match with Ghana.

At the end of the match between the national football teams of Uruguay and Ghana, which ended with a 2-0 victory for the South American side, Edinson Cavani, the captain of Uruguay, pushed and knocked over the VAR monitor at the entrance to the locker room as he was leaving the field.

Despite winning this match, Uruguay failed to advance to the knockout stage, and Cavani believed that the referee should have awarded them a penalty in the final minutes of the game. If this penalty had been awarded and converted into a goal, Uruguay would have advanced from Group H as the second team instead of South Korea.
