Michael Erik Kurilla, the American general and CENTCOM commander who arrived in Israel on Thursday, is set to meet with Yoav Gallant, the country’s Defense Minister.

The CENTCOM commander’s visit to Israel coincides with growing concerns about a potential military response from Iran following the attack on its consulate in Damascus.

Yesterday, the U.S. Secretary of State also assured the Israeli Defense Minister of support against Iran.
