CENTCOM denies IRGC’s claims about the destruction of American fighter jets
The United States Central Command, CENTCOM, rejected three recent claims by the IRGC, stating that no American aircraft, including F-35 fighter jets, were destroyed or damaged in Iran’s attacks. According to CENTCOM, all missiles and drones fired were intercepted or did not reach their intended targets.
CENTCOM also dismissed the IRGC’s claim about the insecurity of shipping routes in the Strait of Hormuz, stating that the main threat to commercial ships and civilian crews is the attacks and threats from the IRGC.
This command also refuted Iranian media reports about the oil tanker Nora passing through the American blockade, declaring that the ship did not pass through any blockade and that the U.S. naval operations, involving more than 20 warships, hundreds of aircraft, and thousands of military personnel, are still ongoing.
