CENTCOM: We have seized the shipment of weapons sent by Iran to the Yemeni Houthis
The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Wednesday that a massive shipment of weapons sent by the Islamic Republic to the Houthis in Yemen has been seized.
According to the CENTCOM report, this shipment was seized by the Yemeni National Resistance Forces (NRF) led by General Tariq Saleh.
The report indicates that the Yemeni National Resistance Forces intercepted and seized more than 750 tons of ammunition and hardware, including hundreds of advanced anti-ship and anti-aircraft cruise missiles, warheads and seekers, components, as well as hundreds of drone engines, air defense equipment, radar systems, and communication equipment.
The Yemeni National Resistance Forces announced that the manuals accompanying this shipment were in Persian and that many of the systems were produced by a company affiliated with the Iranian Ministry of Defense, which is sanctioned by the United States.
They emphasized that this illegal shipment was sent for use by the Houthis, who are supported by the Islamic Republic.
