The CEO of Debsh Tea Company has been arrested.

The CEO of Debsh Agro-Industry Group has been arrested and sent to prison since the end of last month, Aban, after a bail of 5,000 billion was set by the investigating judge of the Tehran Special Economic Crimes Court.

Investigations by the Inspection Organization indicate that the total foreign currency received by a specific company from 2019 to 2022 for importing tea and machinery amounted to 3 billion and 370 million dollars, of which about 1 billion and 472 million dollars were provided at the NIMA exchange rate for machinery, and the rest was for tea imports.
