CEO of Tehran Province Water and Wastewater Company: We are facing challenges in water supply this year

The CEO of the Tehran Province Water and Wastewater Company said we are facing difficulties in supplying water this year.

The CEO of the Tehran Province Water and Wastewater Company has stated that the current status of Tehran’s water resources and the amount of rainfall since the beginning of the water year indicate that we have a tougher year ahead.

Mohsen Ardakani told ISNA news agency that although there have been good rainfalls recently, the rainfall in Tehran province has decreased by 20% compared to the long-term average.

Mr. Ardakani added that we need a 20% reduction in water consumption so that we can supply water more comfortably.
