As the likelihood of a U.S. military attack increases, Abdolrahim Mousavi, the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic, said on Monday, February 1, that we are ready to confront and deliver a retaliatory slap to the enemy.
Referring to the continuation of what he called blood vengeance, he said that the vengeance remains on the thirteenth and added that the smallest mistake will open our hands for action. Mousavi also warned that in case of conflict, the world will see a different face of the Islamic Republic and claimed that American forces and their allies will not be safe.
These statements are in line with the positions of the leader of the Islamic Republic, who previously said that if a war starts, this time it will be a regional war.
