China: Reinstating Sanctions on Iran is Unjust

China says the reinstatement of Iran sanctions is unfair

The Chinese ambassador stated that the country supports the continued lifting of UN Security Council sanctions against Iran and has therefore voted in favor of the draft resolution.

He said, I must emphasize that we firmly reject the attempts of some countries to impose the implementation of the snapback mechanism and consider such an action as severely undermining diplomatic efforts to achieve a political solution on Iran’s nuclear issue.

The Chinese ambassador to the United Nations said that the United States recklessly launched military attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities, thus destroying the negotiation process that it had initiated itself.

It is in such circumstances that Britain, France, and Germany cite Resolution 2231 and insist on activating the snapback mechanism for unilateral sanctions against Iran.

This action is unfair and illogical.
