China Says U.S. Suppresses Chinese Companies

China accuses the US of suppressing Chinese companies

The Chinese Foreign Ministry accused the US of suppressing Chinese companies and called for an end to what it described as Washington’s improper practice.

This reaction came after the US added the names of several major Chinese companies to a list of companies with potential ties to the Chinese military.

Among the newly added companies to this list are the e-commerce company Alibaba and the electric car manufacturer BYD.

Beijing says this action harms the interests of Chinese companies and should be corrected.

American officials have stated that the purpose of this list is to inform American institutions and companies about the potential risks of collaborating with certain Chinese companies. However, being on this list does not mean sanctions or a ban on working with these companies.
