The Chinese ambassador says Beijing is ready to play a constructive role in restoring peace to the Middle East
The ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Iran announced that Beijing is willing to play a constructive role in quickly restoring peace and tranquility to the Middle East.
In a note on the occasion of the fifty-fifth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Iran and China, he wrote that there are no winners in wars and conflicts, and peaceful coexistence is the only correct path forward for countries.
The Chinese ambassador also emphasized that Beijing supports Iran’s efforts to maintain its sovereignty, security, and national interests, and welcomes the improvement of Tehran’s relations with the Gulf countries and other countries in the region.
He added that China is ready to expand political, economic, and cultural cooperation with Iran and to advance the comprehensive strategic partnership of the two countries towards long-term stability and development.
