Mohsen Barmahani: Some people in the cinema industry have taken stances, and if these stances have disrupted the country’s security or encouraged unrest and lost opportunities, the organization responsible for deciding on them is not the broadcasting organization.

There are institutions that handle these issues. We do not want the country’s artistic assets and capacities to be easily lost, but ultimately, there are a few individuals who have taken such stances.

There are three thousand and several hundred people active in cinema and television, and only a few have taken stances in recent events. We will continue our work with them.

If we speak about the country’s issues, we should not say anything that might offend any part of the system.
