Cinema Organization Chief: Behrouz Vossoughi Faces No Ban on Returning to the Country

The head of the Cinema Organization stated that Behrouz Vossoughi has no restrictions on returning to the country.

Mohammad Khazaei, the head of the Cinema Organization of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, invited Bahram Beyzaei, a cinema and theater director, on a television program to make his new film in Iran. He said conditions are in place for many artists, like Behrouz Vossoughi, to return to Iran.

Khazaei added that Beyzaei emigrated after the presidencies of Ahmadinejad and Rouhani, and there is no obstacle for his return.

This official from Raisi’s government also said that some artists from before the revolution can return and continue their work if there are no issues.

Khazaei also referred to numerous requests and said Mr. Behrouz Vossoughi can return and work without any problems unless there is another issue here. Otherwise, from the perspective of the Cinema Organization and the Ministry of Guidance, a number of artists can return and continue their work.
