Clinging to the European Union is like writing a note on ice

Relying on the European Union is like writing a keepsake on ice.

Although the principlist media in recent days, except for one or two of them, cannot hide their desire to revive the JCPOA, they still try to balance their stance to avoid criticism from hardliner factions.

In the meantime, the newspaper Javan, close to the IRGC, wrote that in the past years, in the nuclear negotiations, it was Iran that had to choose between bad and worse regarding Western proposals. But now the situation has completely changed, and it’s the Western side that has to choose between bad and worse.

The newspaper continued, saying that relying on the draft proposed by the European Union is also due to naivety, misplaced trust, immaturity, and is essentially like writing a keepsake on a block of ice.

Javan added that the current situation is in our favor, and if the Western side follows the path of rationality, they have no choice but to return to respecting the rights of the Iranian nation and ensuring Iran’s minimal benefits in the JCPOA.
