Closure of a Venue in Amol Due to Visitors' Dancing

Sealing of a complex in Amol due to visitors dancing

The Public Relations of the Judiciary of Mazandaran announced in a statement the sealing of a tourism center in Amol due to the dancing without hijab of several female visitors and the publication of its video on social media.

The statement mentioned that following the release of a video showing unveiled women dancing in this recreational unit during the holy month of Ramadan, and its spread on social media, after public demand for action on this matter, the recreational center was sealed by the order of the public prosecutor and the revolutionary court of Mazandaran province and the follow-up by the prosecutor of Amol city.

According to Fars News Agency, a legal case has also been filed for the management of the complex.

Since the beginning of Ramadan, several tourism and recreational centers have been sealed for reasons such as lack of hijab and eating during fasting hours.
