Commander Radan: The enemy seeks to take the veil from women
The national police chief stated that security is the measure of effectiveness for any regime, and said that this is why the enemy is now pursuing street campaigns to capture minds and portray society as insecure.
He mentioned that the enemies aim to depict the issue of modesty and the veil as a security and police matter to destabilize society. He added that it has been repeatedly stated that this issue is entirely social and cultural, but when it overflows, police action is necessary to prevent further harm.
He added that regarding modesty and the veil, everyone witnesses that the enemy has come to the doorstep of our homes, seeking to take the veil from women, who today are considered the flag of our country. Here, we must be active and not allow the enemy this opportunity.
He continued, saying that today, the police force has 40 missions and duties specified by law, each requiring 10 to 15 prerequisites. These must be in place to properly carry out those 40 missions, and one of these is addressing the issue of lack of veiling.
