Consecutive Record-breaking Electricity Consumption of 77,000 Megawatts

Maziar Jamshidi, the director of operations and network control of the country’s electricity, said that yesterday we surpassed 77,000 megawatts of electricity consumption, which is an increase of 6,000 megawatts compared to last week, showing an 8 percent growth.

He added that the demand for electricity consumption in the cities of Khuzestan, Tehran, Alborz, Bushehr, Shiraz, and Mashhad has been higher than in other cities of the country.
