On the evening of Monday, December 26, parts of Tehran witnessed nightly protests and chants against the government.

In the city of Mahabad, people also set fires to block some streets and chanted against the government. Meanwhile, calls have been made to participate in the fortieth-day ceremonies for Azad Hosseinpour, Kamal Ahmadi Puri, and Mohammad Ahmadi Gagash on Tuesday, December 27.

The city of Dashti in Hormozgan Province was the scene of anti-government demonstrations and chants against Ali Khamenei following the fortieth-day ceremony for Hamed Malai, one of those killed in the nationwide protests.
