Continuation of protest gatherings in Tehran’s bazaar
Officers attacked the protesters in Tehran’s bazaar by firing tear gas. According to field reports, these gatherings have formed in protest against economic conditions and livelihood pressures, and have continued in parts of the bazaar since early today.
Eyewitnesses say that with the increased presence of security forces, the atmosphere in some sections has become tense, and the activities of several business units have temporarily stopped. So far, official authorities have not released details about the number of detainees or possible injuries.
These gatherings continue while in recent weeks, alongside the intensification of economic problems and professional dissatisfaction, reports of scattered protests in various cities across Iran have been published.
