Countering Iranian Drones at the Top of U.S. and Allies' Agenda

Countering Iranian drones is at the top of the agenda for the US and its allies

The United States has officially stated that Iran’s drone program, in the context of Russia’s aggression towards Ukraine and its involvement in this aggression, violates UN Security Council Resolution 2231. The Deputy Spokesperson for the US State Department, highlighting Iran’s violation of the mentioned resolution, noted that it was the United States that made public Iran’s military cooperation with Russia in the aggression towards Ukraine and disclosed its dimensions. Vedant Patel, presenting a summary of the US government’s views on this matter, pointed out that Iran’s cooperation with Russia should be considered a serious threat to international security, which the world must take seriously. He warned that any individual or entity that in any way assists Iran’s drone program should be vigilantly aware of the consequences.
