According to reports, Arya is not in good physical condition. His family and acquaintances have been pressured to condemn public protests.

Arya Jafari is awaiting a court hearing. He had previously been arrested for photographing the acid attack protests in Isfahan.

He has now been transferred to the general ward of Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan and is deprived of the right to choose a lawyer.
