Delavar Najafi was dismissed due to corruption, and Akbar Sadeghi was appointed as his successor.
Delavar Najafi, the Deputy Minister for Supporting Producers at the Ministry of Industry, was dismissed from his position due to violating economic principles in the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Trade.
He was one of the most important managers during the Raisi administration and was fired for economic corruption.
Delavar Najafi, with the help of his manager Fathinia, took over the management of Dabesh Tea Factory and orchestrated widespread corruption by ousting the family and close associates of Akbar Rahimi.
One of his actions included signing a contract with a company named Arnoosh to buy tea at a price of 90,000 tomans per kilogram, while 60 billion tomans were paid from Dabesh’s account to this company, and no one ever saw the tea.
The next corruption involved selling Dabesh factory’s assets, such as generators, at one-tenth of their value to his friends.
Fathinia is currently residing in the UK under government protection and was a former manager at the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Trade.
