Damage to 9,250 residential units in the Khoy earthquake

Nikzad, the head of the Housing Foundation, stated that according to estimates, in the 5.9 magnitude earthquake in Khoy that occurred on the 8th of Bahman this year, 1,750 residential units were destroyed and need rebuilding, and another 7,500 units were damaged and require repairs. The government will make a decision regarding the amount of loans and grants this week, and the results will be communicated to the citizens. From today, construction materials such as rebar, skeletons, and nuts and bolts will be delivered to the units that need rebuilding and whose debris removal has been completed.
