Damascus confirmed negotiations with Israel
The official Syrian news agency reported, quoting a government source, that a delegation from the Syrian rebel government led by Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani, the Foreign Minister, and Hussein Al-Salama, the head of the General Intelligence Directorate of the rebels, participated in the current round of negotiations with the Israeli side.
The mentioned source further indicated that the talks are being conducted with the coordination and mediation of the United States.
The unnamed source mentioned that the main focus of the discussions is the reactivation of the 1974 disengagement agreement.
