The deputy of Tehran University spoke about the university’s plan for taking serious action against professors and staff regarding hijab and confirmed the deployment of female enjoining good forces at the university.

Mehdi Shahbazi, the cultural and social deputy of Tehran University, on Sunday, February 18, confirmed the presence of women enjoining good forces at the university and expressed satisfaction with their performance. He stated that individuals from the seminary, the university of Islamic teachings and thought, and psychologists have also been involved in enforcing mandatory hijab on students and professors.

Regarding the task force related to dress code at the university, he claimed to ILNA news agency that the approach with students is persuasive, conversational, and consultative. However, according to him, interactions with professors and staff are very serious and completely lawful, and they are referred to the area of violations and staff selection.
