Deputy Prime Minister of the UK Resigned from His Position

The Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom has resigned from his position

Dominic Raab, the Justice Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, has resigned following investigations into allegations of bullying and harassment against him.

In a letter to Rishi Sunak, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Mr. Raab emphasized that he continues to support the government.

In this letter, he emphasized that he wants an independent investigation into the harassment allegations against him and for this reason, he is stepping down from his position. Raab also expressed concern that this process could lead to an increase in false complaints against UK government ministers.

Raab is the third minister in Rishi Sunak’s government to step down due to controversies since this Prime Minister took office.
