Deputy Turkish Ambassador in Tel Aviv Summoned

Assistant to the Turkish Ambassador in Tel Aviv was summoned.

Israeli media reported the summoning of the Deputy Ambassador of Turkey in Tel Aviv to the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to these reports, the summoning of Turkish diplomatic authorities was due to the half-raising of the Turkish flag at the embassy building in the city of Tel Aviv as a sign of respect for the death of Ismail Haniyeh.

Turkey, which has close relations with Hamas, declared today a day of mourning and the flags of the country were flown at half-mast.
