Dezful Police Sealed 15 Restaurants for Operating During Ramadan

The police commander of Dezful county in Khuzestan has announced the sealing of 15 food and restaurant businesses due to violations during Ramadan.

Ruhollah Yarizadeh stated that officers, with judicial coordination, sealed and prevented the continued operation of 15 food and restaurant businesses for not adhering to the regulations regarding business activities during Ramadan.

He also mentioned that officers verbally warned 135 businesses and obtained written commitments from 80 other violating businesses.

Three days ago, it was also reported that five businesses in Zabol county in Sistan and Baluchestan were sealed for not complying with Ramadan regulations.

This comes as the Iranian government’s pressure on businesses has increased with the start of Ramadan and the approach of the new year.

In this context, Mohammad Arghavan, the head of the Chamber of Guilds of Hamadan Center, stated that businesses that, according to him, do not respect the holy month of Ramadan will be dealt with and sealed until the end of Ramadan.
