Discovery of 18 Migrants’ Bodies in Bulgaria

In western Bulgaria, the bodies of 18 migrants who were hidden in a truck were found. These individuals likely suffocated. Bulgarian police have arrested four suspects in connection with this incident.

In Bulgaria, the bodies of eighteen migrants were found under a load of wood in the back of a truck. According to the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior, the migrants were all citizens of Afghanistan.

Borislav Sarafov, the head of Bulgarian police, told reporters that among the deceased, the body of a child was also seen. The truck was carrying a total of 52 illegal migrants. This truck was abandoned near the village of Lokorsko, located in western Bulgaria, about 20 kilometers from Sofia, the capital of the country.
