Discovery of Israeli Spy Ring Against Iran in Istanbul

Turkish media report the arrest of eleven people in Istanbul on charges of spying for Israel against Iran.

According to reports from judicial and security sources, the intermediary between the leader of this spy ring and the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad was a member of the main opposition movement against Erdogan’s government.

According to Turkish media, a case was opened a year and a half ago in the Istanbul prosecutor’s office to track members of the Mossad spy ring against Iran, which led to the arrest of the ring leader two months ago.

It is said that in an operation carried out by Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization (MIT) yesterday, Monday, in Istanbul, eleven people were arrested on suspicion of membership in this ring, and two suspects have fled.
