Displaying the Book of Israel’s Casualties by Pezeshkian at the United Nations

Masoud Pezeshkian showcased a book in English titled ‘Israel’s Casualties’ during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly.

This book contains the names and photos of Iranians who were killed in the 12-day war with Israel.

Mr. Pezeshkian stated that his aim in introducing and displaying this book is to highlight the human dimensions of this war and to condemn Israel’s actions.

The host of the IRIB news channel praised Mr. Pezeshkian’s action.

In his speech, Mr. Pezeshkian described the attack by Israel and the United States on Iran as a betrayal of diplomacy and a brazen aggression.

Previously, other leaders have also shown images and charts during their speeches.

Former President Ebrahim Raisi had shown the Quran.

In one of the most famous instances, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu displayed an image of a bomb at the General Assembly to illustrate how close Iran was to building a nuclear bomb.

He also once showed a map titled ‘New Middle East’.
