Do Not Charge People with Enmity for Speaking, Says Moulavi Abdul Hamid

Molavi Abdolhamid: Do not charge people with ‘moharebeh’ for speaking

Molavi Abdolhamid, the Friday prayer leader of Zahedan, reacted to the death sentence of Toumaj Salehi during the Friday prayer on the seventh of Ordibehesht.

He said Toumaj Salehi is a poet and artist who has spoken words, and added, do not charge people with ‘moharebeh’ for speaking and do not kill them.

The Sunni Friday prayer leader of Zahedan criticized the issuance and execution of death sentences in Iran, describing the executions carried out as unprecedented in over 1400 years, and called for the cessation of executions as the people’s demand.
