Dollar Price Surpassed 99,000 Tomans

The dollar price surpassed the 99,000 toman mark

The dollar price in Tehran’s free market on Wednesday, the fifth of Shahrivar, jumped by more than 2,500 tomans, surpassing the 99,000 toman mark.

According to exchange rate platforms’ reports, on Wednesday noon, each US dollar was traded at a price of 99,100 tomans in the free market.

This increase occurs as the negotiations between the Islamic Republic and the European troika have remained inconclusive, and speculations about the return of sanctions have intensified.

It is worth recalling that the dollar rate in Farvardin 1404, before the start of Iran and America’s nuclear negotiations in Oman, had also risen to the level of 106,000 tomans.
