The price of the dollar surpassed 52,000 tomans

The upward trend in prices in the gold coin and dollar markets continues, and Iranian media reported that the price of the Emami coin today, Thursday, February 23, 2023, for the first time exceeded 30 million tomans, and the dollar price in Iran’s open market also surpassed 51,000 tomans.

Some media outlets, including Hammihan, say the dollar price has also exceeded 52,000 tomans, setting a new record against the value of the rial.

According to Entekhab, the Tehran Gold and Jewelry Union reported the price of the Emami coin at around 30 million and 500 thousand tomans by about 12:30 PM.

Accordingly, the price of the old design coin is announced at 28 million 300 thousand tomans, the half coin at 16 million, the quarter coin at 10 million 900 thousand, and the one gram coin at 5 million 400 thousand tomans.

While the dollar in Iran’s open market has surpassed 52,000 tomans, Iranian media reported that more than 50 parliament members in a letter to the Speaker of the Parliament requested the invitation of the President to attend the Saturday morning session regarding the recent currency fluctuations.
