Dollar Rises Again on Iran's Last Working Day Before Negotiations with the US

The dollar increased in price again on the last working day in Iran before negotiations with the United States.

On Thursday, April 9th, the price of the dollar in the open market closed at 100,965 tomans, with an approximate change of one percent.

According to Tejarat News, during the day’s trading, the dollar at times reached 101,990 tomans. The price of gold coins also increased on Thursday compared to the previous day.

The new design gold coin rose by two percent to 91,900,000 tomans. The half coin increased by 163 percent to 61 million tomans, and the quarter coin was traded at 31,500,000 tomans with a 317 percent increase.

Thursday was the last working day of the Iranian market before negotiations with the United States over nuclear issues in Oman.

After the initial confirmation of these negotiations, the market reacted positively, and the dollar rate decreased. However, this decrease was not sustainable, and the upward trend resumed.
