Domestic Flight Ticket Prices in Iran Announced

The prices of domestic flight tickets in Iran have been announced

The Iranian Civil Aviation Organization has announced new ticket prices for flights in Iran for various routes. According to officials, these prices have increased by an average of 29% compared to the last announced prices.

A look at the new prices shows that the rate of price increase is not the same across all routes, and some routes have seen a higher price increase than the announced rate.

For example, the new ticket price for the Tehran-Mashhad route has been announced as over 1,314,000 tomans, whereas the last officially announced price for the same route was 982,400 tomans, indicating a 34% increase in the ticket price for this route.

Similarly, the new ticket price for Tehran-Bandar Abbas has been announced as 1,696,000 tomans, while the previous price was announced as 1,267,000 tomans.

The last official change in airline ticket prices dates back to 2021 when the government intervened and reduced the prices by decree.
