Donatella Versace, Designer and Creative Director of Versace, Resigns from Her Position

Donatella Versace, designer and creative director of the Versace brand, has stepped down from her position.

The hottest news of the past few days, which had been whispered about in the fashion world on social media for days, was finally confirmed by Donatella Versace herself, announcing that she is stepping down from her role as the designer of the Versace brand. Dario Vitale will take over as the new designer for the brand.

After the death of her brother Gianni in 1997, Donatella Versace took over the management of the brand, and she has been in this position for over 30 years. From now on, she will remain as the brand’s ambassador.

Donatella said about her resignation, ‘It has been the greatest honor of my life to continue my brother Gianni’s legacy.’

She added that she is excited to see Versace from a new perspective.
