Donya-e-Eqtesad Newspaper: Hospital Situation is Critical

The newspaper Donya-e-Eqtesad states the situation of hospitals is urgent.

The newspaper Donya-e-Eqtesad wrote that the alarm has sounded; nursing union activists describe the condition of patients as critical due to a shortage of nurses in hospitals.

Abbas Abadi, the Deputy of Nursing at the Ministry of Health, announced some time ago that there is a shortage of about 70,000 nursing staff in all sectors.

Every day, five to six nurses and monthly between 100 to 150 nurses emigrate from the country.

Despite this significant shortage, more nurses pack their bags every day and leave Iran.
