Dragan Skočić Becomes Tractor's Head Coach

Dragan Skočić became the head coach of Tractor

Tractor Tabriz Club announced that Dragan Skočić, the former head coach of Iran’s national football team, has been hired for the new Premier League season.

Tractor, which secured fourth place last season, continued the competitions with Hamid Motahari after the departure of their Spanish head coach Paco Jemez, who abruptly left Iran following Iran’s drone missile attack on Israel.

In recent days, numerous reports have been broadcast about stars like Mehdi Torabi and Danial Esmaeilifar joining Tractor, indicating the team’s efforts to have a strong presence in the new season and also in Asian club competitions.

The 55-year-old Skočić has been the head coach of teams like Malavan, Foolad, Khooneh Be Khooneh, and Sanat Naft Abadan. He replaced Carlos Queiroz after the 2019 AFC Asian Cup and led Iran’s national team to the Qatar World Cup, but he was dismissed before the tournament, and Carlos Queiroz took his place.
