During Rasai's Remark, Parliament Became Tense and Conflicted

During Rasai’s reminder, the parliament became tense and confrontational.

The open session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly on Sunday, May 24th, was accompanied by tension and verbal altercations among several representatives.

Videos released in domestic media indicate that when Hamid Rasai, a member of the Stability Front, intended to give a procedural reminder to Baqer Qalibaf, the Speaker of the Parliament, some representatives were shouting at each other with insults.

The confrontation between the Stability Front representatives and Qalibaf and his supporters continued on Tuesday as well.
