Raisi went to Uganda after Kenya
Ebrahim Raisi, the President of Iran, has gone to Uganda as part of his trip to three African countries. This visit has taken place after his visit to Kenya.
Raisi is the first Iranian head of state to travel to Africa in 11 years.
Besides Kenya and Uganda, Zimbabwe is another destination for Raisi.
During the trip to Kenya, the two countries signed 5 cooperation agreements, and Ebrahim Raisi met with his Kenyan counterpart.
In the joint meeting of Iranian and Kenyan traders, Raisi called for reducing trade tariffs and establishing preferential tariffs.
