Egypt's Foreign Minister Visits Earthquake-Affected Areas in Turkey

The Egyptian Foreign Minister visited the earthquake-stricken areas of Turkey.

The Egyptian Foreign Minister met with his Turkish counterpart in the earthquake-affected region of Adana.

According to ILNA, citing Anadolu, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, the Turkish Foreign Minister, met with his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry, today, Monday, in the earthquake-stricken area of Adana.

Çavuşoğlu welcomed his Egyptian counterpart at the regional airport, and the two had a private meeting.

After the meeting, the Egyptian Foreign Minister stated at a press conference regarding the possibility of a meeting between Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, the Presidents of Turkey and Egypt, that certainly, at an appropriate time, contacts in this regard will be made.

The Foreign Ministers of Egypt and Turkey are set to welcome the ship carrying aid from Egypt for the earthquake-affected people.
